Dubai Big 5

The team had a brilliant time attending the Dubai World Trade Centre for this year’s Big 5 building and construction show. It was great to see such a large attendance and worldwide participation.

There were so many innovative ideas on showcase and it was encouraging to see how the industry was moving forward. There was a real focus on solar energy and the development of the Hyperloop transportation system in preparation for the Dubai 2020 Expo.

We got to view some very promising technologies, materials and building solutions at the exhibition, highlighting some of the best practices not only in the middle east but also abroad.

It was definitely an informative visit and one we’re glad to have participated in. It also helps that it was held in Dubai, such a vibrant city with some of the best new architecture and food around. Hopefully we’ll have the opportunity to showcase at a future event here.
